Basketball Game Preview: Lewis Academy Watchmen vs. St. Paul Buckaroos

Lewis Academy hasn't had much luck against St. Paul recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lewis Academy Watchmen will face off against the St. Paul Buckaroos at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lewis Academy will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Willamette Valley Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lewis Academy blew past Willamette Valley Christian, posting a 45-17 win. The Watchmen haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. Paul didn't have too much trouble with Falls City/Kings Valley Charter on Friday as they won 58-42.

Lewis Academy's record is now 14-7. As for St. Paul, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Lewis Academy lost to St. Paul on the road by a decisive 45-30 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Lewis Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
