Baseball Recap: Rainier Comes Up Short

Rainier lost against Westside Christian back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Columbians fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6.

Rainier's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Westside Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rainier is set to square off against their familiar foe Warrenton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westside Christian will challenge rival Neah-Kah-Nie at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
