Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Country Day Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Wakefield Country Day had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Eukarya Christian Academy Lions. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Eukarya Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Wakefield Country Day and Quantico will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eukarya Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th.
