Basketball Recap: South Takes a Loss

South lost against Africentric Early College back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost to the Nubians at home by a 58-42 margin.

Despite the defeat, South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nysean Pollard posted 14 points. Davion Lowe was another key player, putting up six points.

South's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Africentric Early College, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South is set to challenge their familiar foe Eastmoor Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Africentric Early College will face off against rival Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
