Football Game Preview: Spain Park Jaguars vs. Chilton County Tigers

The Spain Park Jaguars will face off against the Chilton County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Spain Park has four straight victories, Chilton County has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Spain Park took their game with ease, bagging a 42-13 win over Calera. Considering the Jaguars have won six contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Spain Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Xander McClure and Jayce Mims.

Meanwhile, Chilton County came up short against Calera last Friday, falling 41-16.

Spain Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Chilton County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Spain Park against Chilton County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 37-6 win. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
