Volleyball Game Preview: Denfeld Hunters vs. Proctor Rails + Official Tickets

Denfeld is 2-8 against Proctor since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hunters will host the Rails at 7:00 p.m.

Denfeld came up short against Mesabi East on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Proctor had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Giants. The Rails not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Proctor was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Proctor found their leader in sophomore SAVANNAH BAKER, who had 11 digs and four assists.

Proctor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matches.

Denfeld's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Proctor, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
