Basketball Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail's last matchup with Streamwood could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Blazers took a blow against the Sabres, falling 61-23. That's two games in a row now that the Blazers have lost by exactly 38 points.

Ayumi Ishikawa had an outrageously good game for Streamwood as she dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals gave Ishikawa a new career-high. Brianna Coffey was another key player, putting up five points and eight boards.

Addison Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Addison Trail will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Leyden at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Streamwood, they will take on Maine West in a tournament on Friday.
