Basketball Preview: Hillcrest Vikings vs. Westwood Longhorns

The Hillcrest Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Westwood Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hillcrest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games.
On Wednesday, Hillcrest blew past Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova, posting an 89-29 victory. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Eagles are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westwood pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Hillcrest, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
