Football Recap: Hun Piles Up the Points Against Pennington

There's no place like home for Hun, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Pennington Red Hawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Red Hawks are ranked 144th).

Leading Hun to victory were Lukas Prock and Nick Diamond. Prock threw for 252 yards and four TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes, while Diamond rushed for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. Brady Scheier also helped with two scores in total.

Hun didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Deke Carpenter, Zain Majeed, and Julian Mellado picked up one apiece.

The win got Hun back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Hun is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Archbishop Spalding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pennington, they will welcome William Penn Charter at 1:30 p.m. on the 6th.
