If University wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Faith Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Evelyna Grybowics. The Lions blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Grybowics, who had 15 assists and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Faith Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-22.

Faith Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for University, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Faith Christian will challenge Riverbend Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for University, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oak Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
