Baseball Recap: St. Johns Comes Up Short

St. Johns was the 5-3 winner over Williamston when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Redwings took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Wednesday. The Redwings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Johns' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Williamston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hornets beat St. Johns by a score of 11-1 later that day.
