Soccer Recap: Richfield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richfield can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manti Templars on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Manti this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in August.

Richfield's goal came courtesy of Claire Hulet, who's now up to 11 this season.

Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Manti, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manti, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Carbon on the 23rd.
