Softball Recap: Space Coast Comes Up Short

Space Coast and Melbourne Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Space Coast had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Hustlers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vipers have suffered since February 17th.

Space Coast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kodibeth Bates, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Space Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Space Coast nor Melbourne Central Catholic have any future games scheduled.
