Soccer Recap: Port Allegany Takes a Loss

Port Allegany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northern Potter Panthers, falling 5-2. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Port Allegany struggled afterwards.

Port Allegany's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Northern Potter, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-3.

Coming up, Port Allegany will face off against Punxsutawney at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Port Allegany will be up against Punxsutawney's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.08 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northern Potter, they will square off against Galeton at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
