Basketball Recap: Harrison Harper Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mark Keppel

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Maranatha had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-44 margin over the Mark Keppel Aztecs. The score was close at the half, but the Minutemen pulled away in the second half with 41 points.

Maranatha's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harrison Harper, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Harper a new career-high in points. Bryan Lopez-Wood was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Maranatha was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Maranatha has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-17 record this season.
