Basketball Recap: Coventry Christian Takes a Loss

Coventry Christian played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 85-43 loss at the hands of the Linville Hill Warriors. The match marked Coventry Christian's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Giovanni Sejuste continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Linville Hill, going 15 of 16 en route to 41 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Sejuste a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jerome Stoltzfus, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Coventry Christian's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Linville Hill, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Coventry Christian will challenge The Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Linville Hill, they will take on Berks Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
