Volleyball Recap: Mercer Victorious

Mercer's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Jamestown Muskies by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Muskies: they've now won three in a row.

Mercer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-14, 25-16.

Anna Allen went supernova, getting 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last five contests.

Allen wasn't the only good servers: Mercer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Mercer's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Jamestown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

As of now, neither Mercer nor the Muskies have any future games scheduled.
