While Chariho put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for West Warwick. The Chargers came out on top against the Wizards by a score of 5-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Landon Sumner made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Chariho is 7-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Sumner was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rohan Downing, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Chariho's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
