Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Central Flyers vs. Southern Tornadoes

The St. Joseph Central Flyers will challenge the Southern Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Joseph Central lost 3-0 to Clay on Thursday. The Flyers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-1, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Southern entered their tilt with Eastern on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

Southern walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 27-25.

Southern's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for St. Joseph Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

St. Joseph Central might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Southern in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Flyers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
