Softball Recap: Enochs Beats Modesto for Their Sixth Straight Win

Enochs had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Modesto Panthers a 14-0 shutout. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

Makayla Alailima was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Camila Ramirez Quintana, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Enochs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Enochs' record now sits at 8-3. As for Modesto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Coincidentally, Enochs and Modesto will both be playing Downey the next time they take the field. Modesto will host Downey at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Enochs will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
