Basketball Recap: Mendenhall Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Mendenhall won the last time they faced Magee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mendenhall Tigers snuck past the Magee Trojans with a 51-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Mendenhall is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.1 points. As for Magee, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1.

Mendenhall and Northeast Jones will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Mendenhall's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Northeast Jones has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
