Football Recap: DeForest Comes Up Short

DeForest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 54-21 loss at the hands of the Reedsburg Beavers. The Norskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-7.

DeForest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Reedsburg, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

DeForest and Reedsburg will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Norskies are set to square off against their familiar foe Fort Atkinson at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Reedsburg will face off against rival La Crosse Central at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
