Recap: Johnson Jaguars vs. Lee Volunteers

The Johnson Jaguars lost to the Lee Volunteers back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Johnson took down Lee 59-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Johnson.

Johnson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Simpson, who scored 13 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daryl Banks, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Johnson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-18 record this season. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-12.

Johnson will square off against Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Johnson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday. As for Lee, they will be playing at home against Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
