West Lyon came tearing into Tuesday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Rock Valley Rockets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 52-40. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Rockets are ranked 195th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
