Football Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Concord was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. The matchup between the Raiders and the Brandywine Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Raiders falling 22-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Brandywine came from Kyren Robinson, Zhyaire Jackson, and Peyton Taylor.

Concord has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Brandywine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Concord by a score of 42-0 on Friday.
