Basketball Recap: Rockwall-Heath Beats North Forney for Their Fifth Straight Victory

If North Forney wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Rockwall-Heath, they should've done a better job of containing Kaleb Turner-Dicus. The Rockwall-Heath Hawks secured a 65-61 W over the North Forney Falcons on Tuesday thanks in part to Turner-Dicus, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine boards. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Bryce Wood was another key player, putting up three points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in boards (four).

The victory was the fifth in a row for Rockwall-Heath, bringing their record for this year to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for North Forney, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rockwall-Heath and North Forney will both be playing Royse City the next time they take the court. Rockwall-Heath will host Royse City at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while North Forney will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
