After three games on the road, Mountain Island Charter is heading back home. They will take on the Lincoln Charter Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That was a full 46.7% of Mountain Island Charter's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Genesis Cooke was another key contributor, scoring five points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Charter stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Christ the King 51-28. Winning may never get old, but Lincoln Charter sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Mountain Island Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lincoln Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Mountain Island Charter took a serious blow against Lincoln Charter in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, falling 69-36. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mountain Island Charter was down 38-13.
