Softball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Huntingtown

While Huntingtown put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for La Plata. The Hurricanes walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

The result came thanks to Jordyn Greever's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 15 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Huntingtown's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Madison Roller, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Huntingtown hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Plata struck out nine times.
