Volleyball Recap: Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Nordonia Knights.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-15, 25-12.

Leading Nordonia to victory were Victoria Intas and Avery Palinkas. Intas had ten digs and three aces, while Palinkas had 21 assists and three digs. That's the most aces Intas has posted since back in September of 2024.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nordonia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will take on South at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Nordonia, they will challenge Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
