Basketball Recap: Ray Estay's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Braddock over Piper

On Friday, the Braddock Bulldogs came up short against the Piper Bengals and fell 58-47.

Braddock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ray Estay, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca De La Paz, who put up 11 points and six rebounds.

Braddock's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Piper, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Braddock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-54 win against Coconut Creek on the 28th. As for Piper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-59 defeat against Monsignor Pace on the 28th.
