Basketball Game Preview: Plainview Bulldogs vs. Hanks Knights

The Plainview Bulldogs will square off against the Hanks Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Plainview is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Plainview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Wylie by a score of 45-36.

Meanwhile, Hanks hadn't done well against Andress recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Hanks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Andress 49-16. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hanks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points over those games. As for Plainview, their win bumped their record up to 20-12.

Plainview strolled past Hanks when the teams last played back in February of 2021 by a score of 73-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plainview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
