While Greeley Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Northridge lost 3-0 to Berthoud on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

While Northridge was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-23.

Greeley Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Greeley Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Northridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
