Basketball Recap: Norwell's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Wednesday

Norwell won the last time they faced Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Norwell Knights walked away with a 51-40 win over the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Saints are ranked 171st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anne Obrien, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzie Eke, who went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points and six rebounds.
