Basketball Recap: Chisholm Trail Gets the Win

Chisholm Trail won the last time they faced Saginaw and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chisholm Trail Rangers walked away with a 53-46 win over the Saginaw Rough Riders.

Saginaw's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amaya McGrew, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. McGrew has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Shaniah Franklin, who posted 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Chisholm Trail's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Saginaw, they dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Chisholm Trail will face off against Granbury at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Saginaw, they will challenge Fossil Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
