Volleyball Recap: Northside's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Northside can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Little Village Phoenix by a score of 2-0.

Northside easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12.

Northside can attribute much of their success to Max Oppenheim, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Oppenheim a new career-high.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Little Village, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Little Village, they will venture away from home to face off against ACERO Garcia at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
