Softball Recap: Freeman Comes Up Short

Freeman lost to Glen Allen back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mavericks lost 11-3 to the Jaguars. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryleigh Perks made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleigh Perks, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Glen Allen, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will host St. Catherine's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glen Allen, they will be playing at home against Godwin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season.
