Basketball Recap: Tyner Academy Triumphs

On Saturday, the Tyner Academy Rams earned a 48-41 victory over the North Atlanta Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

It was another big night for Rodney Henderson III, who went 10 for 21 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. His afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Felder, who posted ten points and five steals.

Tyner Academy's record is now 9-5. As for North Atlanta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Tyner Academy and North Atlanta should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Tyner Academy (ranked 70th) will meet Chattanooga Christian (ranked 332nd) at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Atlanta (ranked 93rd) will meet Denmark (ranked 514th) at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
