Softball Recap: Evergreen Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Foxcroft last Tuesday, Evergreen Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks on Monday, falling 12-5.

Evergreen Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Evergreen Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Holton-Arms at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 3.1, Holton-Arms 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
