Raymond Central lost against Fairbury back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Jeffs by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Izabella Lubischer paced Raymond Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Lubischer got some help from Savannah Masek and her 26 assists.

Raymond Central now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Fairbury, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Raymond Central has already played their next contest (against Milford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fairbury, they are taking a road trip to take on Superior at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
