Basketball Recap: Gregory Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Gregory Gorillas were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to the Scotland/Menno Trappers. The Gorillas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gregory's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Scotland/Menno, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Coming up, Gregory will square off against Colome at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Gregory is facing Colome at the right time seeing as Colome is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Scotland/Menno, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Irene/Wakonda at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Scotland/Menno will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Irene/Wakonda will have lost three straight heading into Saturday's contest.
