Basketball Game Preview: Jimtown Jimmies vs. NorthWood Panthers

Jimtown is 1-9 against NorthWood since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. Jimtown will be strutting in after a victory while NorthWood will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Jimtown earned a 52-43 win over LaVille. The Jimmies haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, NorthWood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 47-42 to Fairfield.

Jimtown's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for NorthWood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Jimtown was taken down by NorthWood 61-26 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Jimmies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
