Baseball Recap: Clayton-Ridge Comes Up Short

Clayton-Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the MFL MarMac Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-3 defeat on June 9th.

Clayton-Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for MFL MarMac, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Clayton-Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Turkey Valley on the 1st. As for MFL MarMac, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Marquette on the 1st.
