Oldham County took  a  three-set  loss the last time they faced off against Central Hardin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Colonels won by a  set and slipped past the Bruins  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Colonels have posted  since August 21st.
 Ava Arterburn paced Oldham County's offense, picking up 18 kills. Arterburn got some help from  Ella Regenhold and her 31 assists.  Bella Warner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Despite the  defeat, Central Hardin had strong showings from  Katelynn Camenzind, who  had 24  digs and two  assists, and  Rylie Conley, who  had 18  digs and five  assists. With that strong performance,  Camenzind is now averaging an impressive 10.7  digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Sego, who  had ten  digs.
The  victory  got Oldham County back to even at 6-6. As for Central Hardin,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 14-4.
 Coincidentally, Oldham County and Central Hardin will both be playing South Warren the next time they take the court. The Colonels will  host the Spartans at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 2:00  p.m.
