Softball Game Preview: Ross Rams vs. Bellbrook Golden Eagles

The Ross Rams will head out to challenge the Bellbrook Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ross will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Ross is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bellbrook 15-5 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly ten runs.

Paige Baker made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kailyn May, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Olivia Powers also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Ross kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.

Ross' record is now 10-6. As for Bellbrook, their record now sits at 9-11.
