Baseball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Poplarville Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 last Tuesday.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Poplarville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

While Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
