Recap: Lewistown Indians vs. Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers
The Lewistown Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenfield/Northwestern.
Talon Albrecht was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with five assists for Greenfield/Northwestern. Garrett Costello was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Lewistown has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 17 of their last 18 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewistown will take on Astoria/VIT at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewistown is coming into the game with eight straight losses at home, meaning Astoria/VIT will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Greenfield/Northwestern will take on Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Greenfield/Northwestern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Wednesday.
