Basketball Recap: Hidden Valley Takes a Loss

Hidden Valley was the 64-61 winner over Ashland when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Hidden Valley Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 50-49 to the Ashland Grizzlies. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hidden Valley and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Ashland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Hidden Valley will take on Brookings-Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Ashland, they will face off against Mazama at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Mazama is on a six-game streak of home losses, Ashland a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change.
