Soccer Recap: Penncrest Takes a Loss

If Penncrest was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Interboro last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell just short of the Haverford Fords by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Penncrest couldn't quite close it out.

Penncrest's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2. As for Haverford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Penncrest will face off against rival Upper Darby at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Haverford is set to challenge their familiar foe Conestoga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
