Basketball Recap: Parsippany Find Success

Parsippany won the last time they faced Boonton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Parsippany Redhawks pulled ahead with a 59-58 photo finish over the Boonton Bombers.

Parsippany got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Thomas Niedermaier out in front who went 7-for-15 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. The match was Niedermaier's third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arthur Smith, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points and three steals.

Parsippany now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Boonton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Parsippany will welcome Whippany Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boonton, they will venture away from home to square off against Kinnelon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
