Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Wolves vs. Loveland Tigers
West Clermont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Loveland Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
West Clermont was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-23.
Zander Bentley paced West Clermont's offense, picking up five kills. Bentley got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his 12 assists. Bentley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Loveland, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
